Creative Play

Sunday was my Creative Play day this week. I attended an all day class over at Everything Scrapbook store where Ingvild Bolme all the way from Norway taught.

Ingvild showed us how to layer and distress using her new tools introduced at CKU. Her tools are amazing and already placed my name on the waiting list once they reach the stores. The distressing tool had at least 5 different tools combined into one.

We completed two projects, the first one being a Photo frame. The 1st page of the photo frame included using felts, paper flowers, canvas tag and stickers along.

The photo page we used some tape, canvas letters, paper flowers. I fell in love with the tape. See the dots. This is tape. It's a lot like scotch tape but with prints on them. So cool!

Here is a little closer up.

The second project for the day was a Memories layout. We used a lot of the same techniques and tools we learned in the first class but this time we spent more time using her exacto knife cutting out the fine details of flowers and butterflies.

A truly stunning page...

Here is a closer look at some of the details.

Well weekend over and back to the work week...
