Day 10

Great day today, while driving home exhausted from work, my daughter called to tell me that she wanted to cook dinner. Music to my ears on a exhausting day. She made Fetticuni alfredo and it was awesome! Decided for Day 10 to change it up and do some digital pages. Found this door on Robinmarie.com and fell in love, so I decided to do a page with it. I love it!

Day 9

It's late and ready for bed but had to share Fall Project # 2 completed. Only 2 more to go and still no fall decorations around the house, except for my completed Fall projects that is. Thank God I don't store them in the attic, or I would never get to see them. Still doesn't feel like fall around here, but my quilts will bring the season change my way one way or another!

Still Grovin...

Well Day 6 and 7 never made it to my blog, but I can honestly say, I was grovin on my projects. Finished up the "scare crow" one, and just about done with the my pumpkin one. Friday night I worked all day, then had concession duty for the Varisty football game and was way to late to blog. Saturday taught a Digital one-on-one class and then went out boating and dinner with some friends. Sunday, had to get ready for the work week, you know the things the ruler of the house has on her list (groceries, laundry, etc). So in the middle of this crazy week and weekend, I at least accomplished finishing up 1 of the 4. YEAH!!! Now if I can only get my husband to bring down my fall decorations. I WANT TO GO IN THE ATTIC but to afraid of them darn ladders! Don't you just hate waiting for guys to get something done for you when you ask.

DAY 5

What happened to Day 5.... I am half way into Day 6 and just could not get a moment to get my blog updated. So here is what I did accomplish on Day 5 , spent about 1/2 hour on my fall quilt, by adding the border, in between running here and there and back again. I have to say the border did it! I was not overly excited about this one, but now that the border is on, It's a keeper! Can't wait to show it off, I am shooting for this weekend. STAY TUNED!!!

Day 4

Day 4 and I can honestly say that I needed an attitude check today. Seems like I just can't handle all the things getting thrown at me some time. I definitely had to focus on my attitude to make it through the day. Love this quote "Greatest Discovery of my Generation is that a Human Being can alter hit life by altering his attitudes of mind" by William James. As my friend pointed out to me when I was venting. So TRUE! So after all my days activities, I had one more on my list my quilt. This is becoming a great way to end my day and clear my mind of all the things I need to do at work and around the house. Finished up the needle work on my pumpkin table quilt, will show you the completed quilt really soon.

Day 3

Very Busy this week is a fact of my life! However, I am happy to say that among the chaos that is going on this week, I am staying committed to my 21 day challenge and have been squeezing in some needle work on my fall quilts, while snuggled up next with my husband late at night when the kids are getting ready to turn in. I needed to wind down after a crazy day, and my needle work did the trick!

DAY 2

ACTION.... Yes it is the key to success. And baby, I have been in action and lovin every moment. You know some people crave Chocolate, (and i do at time), but I also crave to create. This challenge is forcing me to drop the house cleaning, (called the maid yesterday to start soon) and have some fun after a long day at work. How does that saying go "All WORK and NO PLAY!". I am changing it to "ALL WORK AND LOTS OF PLAY"! Care to join me?

Day 1
Today after spending some time helping my husband build my Arbor, I was able to sneak away and get to JoAnn's and then home to finish up on some fall quilts that have been hanging around unfinished for over a year. I am going to finish them and enjoy them this season. Here is a sneak Peek on two of the four unfinished, but close Fall quilts.
